PayPal to let Australians Use Their Digital Wallets in Real-World Cafes

PEOPLE will be able to use their cashless and cardless PayPal accounts to buy a meals in thousands of restaurants and cafes around Australia under a deal announced today.

PayPal's US-based vice president of global product Hill Ferguson was in Sydney to announce the deal which will let the 5 million active Australian PayPal users to pay with their digital wallet at the 2000 restaurants using the Catch Group's online and mobile takeaway ordering site EatNow and with the more than 1000 cafes, bars and restaurants using the hospitality point-of-sale provider OrderMate.
